Onana changes

Onana boldly shows her personality in the new team.

Before the match against Fenerbahce in the 5th round of the Turkish Super League on September 15, a behind-the-scenes video posted by Trabzonspor showed a different Onana. He stood in front of his teammates to "inspire" and motivate them before the match.

At the end of her speech, Onana clapped her hands and shouted: “Let’s go!”, before receiving a round of applause from the entire team. This image immediately spread quickly on social media, surprising many fans.

One fan commented: “He’s only had one training session and he’s already a leader.” Another said: “I’ve never seen Onana do this at United.” Another sarcastically said: “If only his ball-catching ability was as good as his talking ability.”

On Onana’s debut, Trabzonspor lost 0-1 to Fenerbahce. Although he couldn’t prevent the only goal of the game, Onana still proved his worth by facing 29 shots, including 8 excellent saves, preventing a total of 1.63 expected goals (xG) from his opponents.

Sofascore and Fotmob gave Onana 8.4 and 8.7 points respectively, making him the best player of the match.
