Innovation in teaching and learning methods

In the 2025-2026 school year, Dong Nai's education sector continues to aim to improve the quality of education and innovate teaching and learning methods at all levels, from preschool to university.

This is the school year expected to create breakthroughs, contributing to improving the position of education in the province.

Proactively implement the new Preschool Education Program

One of the key tasks of the preschool education sector this school year is to prepare the necessary conditions to pilot the new Preschool Education Program (PEP) in the 2026-2027 school year. The PEP sector will focus on and prioritize good preparation of resources and staff capacity for facilities selected to implement the pilot.

In addition, in the 2025-2026 school year, preschool education will promote the integration of nutrition education combined with physical activity to develop balanced physical fitness for children, ensuring conditions and environments for children to participate in outdoor and indoor activities according to their daily routine. Other educational contents such as human rights education, gender, traffic safety, self-protection skills and environmental protection will also be effectively integrated. The preschool education sector will also focus on developing educational facilities in industrial parks and export processing zones to create conditions for workers' children to access quality education.

According to the Principal of Hoa Hue Kindergarten ( Binh Phuoc Ward) Truong Thi Van, the most important focus of the school is still to mobilize 5-year-old children to go to school, implement universal preschool education for 3-year-olds and achieve the set targets. The school's staff and facilities are relatively sufficient to ensure that all activities of the new school year are maintained. The school currently lacks equipment to implement smart classrooms, but 100% of classes have televisions and internet connections. The school is also fully equipped with tools, toys, etc. to ensure that children's study hours and activities are guaranteed.

Principal of Sao Khue Kindergarten (Trang Dai Ward) Nguyen Thi Kim Hue said: To proactively implement the new Preschool Education Program, the school has regularly trained teachers at the facility, and at the same time, through studying and exchanging experiences with other schools in and outside the province. School leaders regularly consult and study educational models and methods of advanced countries to apply them appropriately to the school's conditions. Thanks to that, the school's teachers can proactively approach and change educational methods according to the policies set forth by the Ministry of Education and Training .

The first school year of the “new era”

For general education, the important task is to continue to successfully implement the 2018 General Education Program at primary, secondary and high school levels. Dong Nai education sector will promote the implementation of teaching 2 sessions/day for primary education and at secondary and high school educational institutions that meet the prescribed conditions. Along with that is the strengthening of conditions to ensure educational quality, develop the network of schools, build schools that meet national standards, invest in building boarding schools (according to the new model) in border communes; arrange a reasonable teaching staff; have appropriate and timely solutions to support local authorities at the commune level to effectively implement state management of education in the context of merging administrative boundaries and implementing 2-level local government.

Universities and colleges in the province have also proactively innovated teaching and learning methods. Vice Principal in charge of Dong Nai University (Tam Hiep Ward) Dang Anh Tuan excitedly shared: The 2025-2026 school year has a special significance. This is the first year the whole country has implemented Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. The Resolution affirms: Higher education is a breakthrough, expanding comprehensive autonomy, prioritizing investment in elite, aiming to build a modern, high-quality education system, striving for Vietnam to have many universities that meet international standards by 2045.

Also in 2025, the country will enter the "Era of the Vietnamese people's rise" - the era of aspirations for prosperous and happy development, when the entire Party, people and army are determined to turn Vietnam into a developing country with modern industry and high middle income by 2030, and a developed country with high income by 2045.

In the new school year 2025-2026, the school is determined to improve the quality of training according to national accreditation standards; open new majors suitable for the needs of socio-economic development; promote scientific research, innovation, international cooperation; at the same time, build a modern, friendly, humane educational environment, focusing on learners” - Mr. Tuan affirmed.
