Cai Rang Ward Youth Union coordinated with other Youth Union branches to replace vases and flowers at Can Tho City Martyrs Cemetery.
Cai Rang Ward Youth Union has just coordinated with Viettel Cai Rang Cluster, Traffic Police Department of City Police, Military Command, Ward Women's Union, Student Union of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy to launch "Volunteer Saturday", cleaning, changing vases and flowers for 3,800 graves at Can Tho City Martyrs Cemetery.
Ms. Trinh Phuoc Hanh, Deputy Secretary of the Cai Rang Ward Youth Union, said: “This is an annual activity of Cai Rang youth to pay tribute to the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for national independence. At the same time, it demonstrates the morality of “When drinking water, remember its source”, the sacred feelings and gratitude of today’s young generation towards the previous generation”.
Responding to the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and welcoming the Cai Rang Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the Cai Rang Ward Youth Union coordinated with the Mobile Police Department of the City Police and the Ward Military Command to launch a "Green Sunday" to clean the environment and restore urban order and discipline on Pham Hung Street. Youth Union members collected garbage, erased illegal billboards, and encouraged people not to buy and sell on the sidewalks... Ms. Nguyen Thi Diem in Cai Rang Ward confided: "Thanks to the Youth Union members' environmental sanitation campaign, the street has become airy and clean."
Previously, Cai Rang youth organized many propaganda activities to raise people's awareness of protecting a clean environment, contributing to reducing the amount of waste directly discharged onto sidewalks, rivers, canals, etc.
Also in July 2025, Cai Rang Ward Youth Union launched the "Digital Popular Education" team to support people in carrying out administrative procedures and operating the two-level local government. At the Ward Public Administration Service Center, the Youth Union members guided people in carrying out administrative procedures, helping people to operate quickly and save time.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nga in Cai Rang Ward said: “When I arrived at the public administrative service center of the ward, the Youth Union members guided me through the procedures and showed me to the counters to carry out the next procedures. Thanks to that, the procedures were resolved quickly and neatly without taking much time. I am very satisfied with the enthusiastic support and guidance of the Youth Union members and the cadres, civil servants and public employees at the public administrative service center of Cai Rang Ward.”
Mr. Tran Minh Tien, Secretary of the Cai Rang Ward Youth Union, informed: “On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Cai Rang youth also organized a cleaning and participated in the Candle Lighting Ceremony at the City Martyrs Cemetery; visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the ward; and organized a "Meal of Love" at the house of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nhung. At the same time, the ward Youth Union continued to organize activities within the framework of the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign".
