Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW, dated September 28, 2018 of the Politburo "on the National Border Protection Strategy" determined: Managing and protecting the national border is an important and regular task of the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army, the entire political system and the entire country,... the people's armed forces are the core, the Border Guard is the specialized force, the first combat force, sticking to the end to protect and maintain the national border. Thoroughly grasping the assigned tasks, in recent years, the Party Committee of Squadron 2, Quang Ninh Border Guard has led and directed the entire unit to well implement training, combat readiness, patrolling, controlling, protecting the independence, sovereignty and security of the province's sea areas.

Over the years, officers and soldiers of Squadron 2 have always promoted their heroic tradition, strived to overcome all difficulties and hardships to complete their missions, and become a support for fishermen in the Northeastern sea of the Fatherland.

As a mobile unit at sea of the Quang Ninh Border Guard, officers and soldiers of Squadron 2 always uphold the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, staying close to the sea and islands day and night.

Officers and soldiers of Squadron 2 patrol and control key areas, contributing to firmly protecting sovereignty and building the Northeast sea of the Fatherland into a peaceful, stable, secure, safe, cooperative and sustainably developed region.

With a high sense of self-awareness, the border guard teams of the Fleet regularly do a good job of training, being ready for combat, patrolling, controlling, and closely managing the situation at sea within their area of responsibility.

Proactively monitor the situation from afar, promptly detect foreign ships and boats violating maritime sovereignty.

Soldiers of Squadron 2 always accompany fishermen in all aspects so that each ship and each fisherman is a "living milestone", both producing at sea and actively participating in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Resilient in the face of the waves, with their actions regardless of danger, the silent sacrifices of the officers and soldiers of Squadron 2 have brought peace and happiness to the people of coastal areas.
