In recent times, the Women's Union of Binh Luc district has effectively implemented Directive No. 05 - CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. Thereby, many models and creative ways have emerged to make studying and following Uncle Ho a regular and continuous task for each cadre and member in the entire district.
The Goi Pagoda Buddhist Women's Club, Ngo Khe village, Binh Nghia commune, was established in 2009 with more than 300 female members. In recent times, the Club has promoted the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through many practical activities, such as: raising piggy banks; saving to buy health insurance cards for female members in difficult circumstances; mobilizing families of female members and people to preserve and protect the environment... Every year, the Club mobilizes 100% of its members to raise piggy banks to support charity shelters to help eliminate unsafe houses for poor female members, give gifts to families in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Lunar New Year; support and help people in the Central region affected by floods; supporting villages to build cultural houses, supporting education and talent promotion... On the occasion of the 5-year review of the implementation of Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on promoting studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh, the Club slaughtered pigs and saved over 130 million VND, gave gifts to 3 levels of education and gave bags, books and notebooks to poor students who overcame difficulties at primary schools with a total value of over 100 million VND; launched a campaign for groups and individuals to support the donation of 20 bicycles to poor students worth 16 million VND and gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances in Quang Tri with an amount of 157 million VND. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022, the Club organized a visit and gave 70 gifts to poor patients at the Ha Nam Leprosy Hospital, worth 42 million VND. In addition, the Club also coordinated to open free English classes for more than 200 students in and outside the commune with a budget of over 60 million VND...
Learning about the model of following Uncle Ho "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's associated with building a new countryside" at the Women's Union of An Bai village, Dong Du commune, Ms. Pham Thi Ha, Head of the Women's Union of An Bai village said: Immediately after receiving the directives and instructions from superiors on learning and following Uncle Ho, the union deployed to each member to register for the content of learning and following Uncle Ho, connecting themselves to ethics and lifestyle associated with daily life to complete the criteria of "building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's associated with building a new countryside".
Specifically, for the "5 no" criteria, the association always determines to use the criteria of no poor households as a lever to implement the remaining criteria. The association has encouraged members to actively work in production to build happy families, participate in scientific and technical training; coordinate with all levels and sectors to bring new models into production, such as: Thien Uu 8 rice variety model, helping to increase average income by 150 - 200 thousand VND/sao; tray-seeding and machine-planting models to help reduce labor costs; winter crop planting model with key crops such as: pumpkin, squash, cucumber, sweet potato, potato, giving an average income of 1.5 - 3 million VND/sao; model of renovating mixed gardens to grow fruit trees, bringing economic value from 7 - 15 million VND/sao/year... With the criteria of "3 clean", the association has propagated and mobilized 100% of members to actively participate in cleaning village roads and alleys, planting flowers to create a green, clean and beautiful environment. Launching the model of "3 clean Association" with 80 participating members; the model of "10 adjacent households implementing the criteria of 3 clean"; building a self-managed women's road nearly 1km long... Up to now, 100% of inter-village and alley roads have been planted with ornamental flowers and trees, installed with lighting, the main village road alone has 2 welcome gates worth more than 100 million VND with socialized capital; decorated with flags, billboards, and slogans worth more than 40 million VND; the village has a regular waste collection team operating on Mondays and Thursdays every week; the rate of households participating in collection is 98%. Through the model "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's associated with building new rural areas", up to now, over 90% of women's union member households have met the campaign's criteria.
Talking about the results of studying and following Uncle Ho, Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep, Vice President of the Women's Union of Binh Luc district said: Every year, the Women's Union of the district proactively develops a plan to study and follow Uncle Ho according to the content of each year's topics and deploys it to 100% of cadres and members to register for implementation with appropriate content; directs grassroots associations at all levels to launch many effective and practical models of following Uncle Ho, attracting a large number of cadres, members and people to participate. Up to now, the association has established and maintained models of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, such as the models: "10 adjacent households implementing the movement to build 5 no, 3 clean families" contributing to building a new model countryside; raising economical plastic pigs; saving to buy health insurance cards for female members in difficult circumstances; green house collecting plastic waste to raise funds to give gifts to poor women and children; "Godmother connecting love"; "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's associated with building new rural areas". In particular, the association has implemented the model "Saturday with the people" with members and women participating in planting flower roads, cleaning up village roads and alleys in 17/17 communes and towns; effectively maintaining the cooperative model "Women producing clean agricultural products" in Binh Nghia commune with 40 members participating... Through the models of following Uncle Ho, it has aroused the awareness of cadres and members to compete in studying, working creatively, practicing thrift, actively contributing to social security work, building an increasingly strong association in the locality.
In the coming time, the Women's Union of Binh Luc district will continue to promote the dissemination of the contents of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style to all cadres and members; mobilize women to support and help each other to develop the economy, build happy families, contribute to building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas.
