Meta CFO Susan Li previously said the company doesn't expect Threads to be a major revenue source by 2025, but Meta is pleased with its growth trajectory and is focusing on introducing valuable features to the community.

Ads are expected to appear and expand on Threads next year. Across Meta's entire platform, daily active users increased 5% year-over-year.

Susan Li emphasized that Threads’ features are still evolving and that she’s listening to users. She also said that people’s time spent on Threads is still increasing, and Meta is working to make it easier for users to stay up to date with topics.

Launched in July 2023 to compete with X, Threads has been gaining traction with 275 million monthly users.
