My Tu residents are served with administrative procedures at home.

(CT) - On August 30, My Tu Commune Public Administration Service Center, Can Tho City deployed the model of "Supporting administrative procedures at home for people who are unable to travel by themselves". Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, Director of My Tu Commune Public Administration Service Center, and civil servants directly went to households to support witnessing the signing of documents, signing of donation documents, agreements on inheritance division and procedures under the jurisdiction of My Tu Commune People's Committee.

When the two-level local government system came into operation, through reviewing people's applications for support in handling administrative procedures, My Tu Commune Public Administration Service Center realized that there were some particularly difficult cases: the elderly, those who were sick and could not move around... needed to be given priority to come to their homes to support them in carrying out administrative procedures, so this model was implemented. Mr. Pham Van Muoi, 80 years old, residing in My Loi B hamlet, emotionally expressed: "I am old and weak, and I have spinal degeneration, so I cannot go far to sign documents to divide the inheritance for my children. Thanks to the commune officials coming to my house to support, the procedures were resolved quickly and smoothly."

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri, in the coming time, when there are requests for support from people, the unit will review cases that are truly necessary to continue to develop a plan to support the settlement of administrative procedures at home.
