However, just 1 hour before the concert took place, the GAMA Music Racing Festival Facebook page suddenly posted an announcement that superstar Jason Derulo would not appear due to health reasons.

'So disappointed, I only came for Jason Derulo'

At the beginning of the program, the MC apologized to the audience, explaining that due to the high intensity of work on the global tour combined with health issues, Jason Derulo could not attend the event as originally planned.

However, the above explanation was not enough to appease fans. Many people flooded the show's Facebook page to question, express their anger and say they "feel like they have been deceived".

Regarding Jason Derulo's sudden cancellation, GAMA Music Racing Festival said they were very surprised because the singer had been very enthusiastic in his pre-event interviews. According to the contract, the organizers had paid 100% of the show fee, and all stage standards including sound and lighting had been agreed upon after months of meetings.

"The show must continue because that is the mission of GAMA Music Racing Festival and the passion of many people.

Besides, the event also had the participation of many Vietnamese singers such as Chi Pu, DJ Mie, Mono... Therefore, I think this also partly compensates the audience" - Ms. Thi Vo, head of the organizing committee of GAMA Music Racing Festival, said.
