National Day for National Security Protection in Bo De: Spreading the power of solidarity for a peaceful life

HNP - On the afternoon of August 15, at the Z133 Central Hall (No. 105 Ly Son Street), the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bo De Ward (Hanoi) organized the National Day for National Security Protection in 2025, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Attending the festival were comrades in the Party Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the ward; Heads and deputy heads of mass organizations, civil servants of the ward; officers and soldiers of the ward police; representatives of agencies, units, enterprises, schools, forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; Party cell secretaries, heads of residential groups and awarded collectives and individuals.

On behalf of the Steering Committee of 138 wards, comrade Pham Bach Dang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bo De ward read a speech reviewing the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Public Security force; reviewing the 20-year journey of organizing the National Day for National Security Protection (ANTQ).

Comrade Pham Bach Dang emphasized that over the past 80 years, the People's Public Security Forces have always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the State and the People, achieving many outstanding feats, making important contributions to protecting the Fatherland and maintaining social order and security. These feats were built with the sweat, effort and even blood of generations of cadres and soldiers, becoming the pride of the entire nation.

For Bo De ward - a newly established administrative unit from July 1, 2025 with its location, scale and specific socio -economic characteristics, ensuring security and order is identified as a key and central task. The ward has an area of 12.94 km², a population of more than 120,000 people, and is home to many key agencies, units, large religious establishments, ongoing projects and nearly 1,700 subjects of all kinds. This is both an advantage and a challenge in implementing the movement of the entire people to protect national security.

In the past time, the movement has been focused on leadership and direction by the Party Committee and the ward government with many outstanding results such as: The people's security posture has been firmly built from the grassroots level, with effective coordination between the police force, civil defense, organizations and the people; The work of grasping the situation, resolving conflicts within the people in a timely manner, not allowing "hot spots" to arise; The core force to protect security and order at the grassroots level has been consolidated and improved in both quantity and quality.

Comrade Pham Bach Dang affirmed: "The 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security tradition and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection is an opportunity to express deep gratitude to generations of Public Security officers and soldiers and the People who have devoted and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland; at the same time, encourage all classes of People to continue to closely associate with the Public Security force, creating a combined strength to firmly protect national security and social order and safety".

Comrade Vu Thi Thanh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Bo De ward acknowledged and commended the results achieved in the movement of All people protecting national security of the ward.

Speaking at the Festival, Comrade Vu Thi Thanh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Bo De Ward acknowledged and commended the results achieved in the movement of the whole people to protect national security and order of the ward in the past time; at the same time, thanked the attention, leadership and direction of the City Police, along with the coordination and participation of departments, branches, organizations and especially the consensus and support of the people.

Comrade Vu Thi Thanh emphasized that, in response to new requirements and tasks, Bo De ward needs to continue promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, improving the quality of self-management, self-prevention and self-protection models; proactively preventing and combating crimes and social evils; contributing to building a civilized, modern and safe Bo De ward.

Bo De ward leaders commended collectives and individuals with achievements in the movement of All People Protecting National Security and organizing activities of "All People Protecting National Security Day" in 2025.

At the Festival, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of All People Protecting National Security and in the work of preventing crimes and maintaining security and order were awarded by the Hanoi City Police and the People's Committee of Bo De Ward. This is a timely recognition and encouragement, creating motivation for the movement to spread and develop further.

The festival ended in an exciting and united atmosphere. This was an opportunity for each Bo De resident to raise their sense of responsibility and actively participate in maintaining a peaceful and happy life for the community. Lieutenant Colonel Do Danh Hue - Chief of Bo De Ward Police thanked the attention and leadership of the City Party Committee, City People's Committee, City Police; the close direction of the Party Committee - People's Committee of the ward; especially the close coordination and enthusiastic support of departments, branches, organizations and people in maintaining security and order.
