Implementing the Directives and Resolutions of the Party and State on practicing thrift and combating waste, during the preparation and organization of the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, the Department of Education and Training would like to announce: All educational institutions in the city limit decoration with fresh flowers in the stage areas, podiums, school gates, etc. Only use flowers in really necessary locations to create highlights, ensuring aesthetics without being ostentatious or wasteful.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training does not accept congratulatory flowers in any form from agencies, organizations, businesses, parents and individuals attending the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year. Units need to proactively and widely announce this policy to partners, parents... in many forms (documents, announcements on websites, bulletin boards, social networks...).

In addition, in recent days, people in the mountainous and midland provinces of the North and North Central regions are suffering devastating consequences caused by storms No. 4 and No. 5.
