The Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05) announced: "Regarding a document circulating on cyberspace mentioning Mr. Dang Thanh An (Negav), we are inviting PN LEGAL LLC and related individuals to work with us to verify and clarify the contents mentioned in the document."
On the afternoon of August 21, social networks were abuzz about a legal notice posted on the website of PN Legal LLC (hereinafter referred to as PN Legal).
Accordingly, PN Legal is authorized by Negav (real name: Dang Thanh An) to handle a number of individuals and organizations that post or repost fake information, false information, signs of distortion, slander, and arbitrarily conclude that Negav violates the law.
This law firm believes that the above actions have directly and seriously damaged the legitimate rights and interests of the male rapper and other related organizations and individuals, so it requests that the actions be immediately stopped and all this content be removed and deleted.
"We are making records, collecting documents and evidence related to the act of posting fake information, false information, distortion, slander, insulting the reputation, honor, dignity, and privacy mentioned above to work with the authorities to handle individuals and organizations that violate according to current laws, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of Negav," the document quoted.
Notably, this document contains an unverified section mentioning Department A05.
Specifically, according to this announcement, rapper Negav has worked with Department A05 on the allegations of some of the above individuals and organizations.
Original quote: "Department A05 concluded and instructed Mr. An (rapper Negav): '...continue artistic activities, contributing to society. At the same time, A05 has collected and processed a number of accounts that posted articles about Mr. An with inappropriate content, or intentionally took advantage of the above incident for personal gain according to regulations'".
This content is controversial and skeptical. Many internet users believe that sentences like "Mr. An continues to work in the arts, contributing to society" are not suitable for the style of administrative documents issued by Department A05.
In addition, the fact that PN Legal cited but did not clearly state what document it was, what case it concluded about, and when it was issued also caused many internet users to raise questions.
VietNamNet reporters contacted the representative of Nomad MGMT Vietnam - the management company of rapper Negav - but this person did not respond.
Negav's real name is Dang Thanh An, he started rapping since middle school. In 2018, he started pursuing music , in the group Gerdnang (a play on the word Nerdgang - Bookworms) with HIEUTHUHAI, Hurrykng.
He has hits such as Sleeping alone (2022, singing with HIEUTHUHAI), Taking care of you (2023), You make me want to become a Hanoian (2023).
