Union of Science and Technology Associations successfully implemented its tasks

In 2024, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations will effectively implement the tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and higher levels. Organize forums, seminars, competitions and competitions on science and technology well; provide quality comments on draft laws and legal documents; coordinate with agencies and units to do a good job of consulting and commenting on projects, plans, policies and strategies of the province to serve the promotion of socio -economic development.

During the year, under the chairmanship and consultation of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, the organization of technical innovation competitions took place successfully and spread strongly. In particular, Quang Nam excellently won 1 first prize, 1 third prize and 1 consolation prize at the National Youth and Children's Innovation Competition in 2024.

At the conference, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations approved the personnel plan for the 2025-2030 term congress; deployed the Provincial Party Committee's Action Program on implementing Resolution No. 45, dated November 24, 2023 of the Party Central Committee on continuing to build and promote the role of intellectuals in the new period.

In 2024, the 17th Quang Nam Provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Contest received 304 products and models. Through evaluation and selection, the organizing committee awarded 41 prizes to creative topics and products with a total prize fund of 170 million VND. At the same time, 21 provincial-level winning topics, models and products were sent to participate in the national competition.
