Capital is concentrated on important projects, construction works, and transportation, which have regional connectivity impacts and promote socio -economic development.
By the end of July 2025, Lao Cai province had disbursed over VND 4,917 billion , equal to 32.5% of the plan, higher than the same period in 2024 (in the same period in 2024, the old Yen Bai province reached 30.6%; the old Lao Cai province reached 32.4%).
Regarding the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister, disbursement reached nearly 4,623 billion VND, equal to 51.1% of the plan, higher than the national average (the whole country reached 43.9%), ranking 7th out of 34 provinces and cities nationwide .
Lao Cai province strives to disburse nearly VND 14,868 billion by the end of 2025, equal to 98.3% of the assigned plan. Particularly, the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister strives to reach over VND 12,804 billion, equal to 141% of the assigned plan (in case the capital from land use fee revenue is collected according to the assigned plan).
The total disbursement nationwide from the beginning of the year to July 31, 2025 was VND 388,301.15 billion, reaching 39.45% of the plan, reaching 43.9% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister (in the same period of 2024, it reached 27.76% of the plan and reached 33.8% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister).
