
According to a report by the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province, as of August 24, 2025, the province has completed the elimination of 5,508 out of 5,700 temporary and dilapidated houses; of which, 4,173 houses were newly built and 1,335 houses were repaired, reaching a rate of 96.63%. The remaining 192 houses are under construction.

Of which, Lam Dong thousand flowers area: completed 2,044/2,044 apartments; Lam Dong blue sea area: 1,453/1,456 apartments; Lam Dong great forest area: 2,011/2,200 apartments.

However, the actual implementation has reduced 304 houses compared to the demand. The reason is that the number of households has been supported by other programs and projects, or households have left the locality, households do not meet land conditions, households do not have demand...
Most of the unfinished houses were only implemented in June 2025. It is expected that by August 31, 2025, the entire Lam Dong province will complete the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses.
Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Ha Loc commented that supporting poor and near-poor households, ethnic minorities, policy households with housing difficulties... has greatly contributed to the implementation of the Emulation Movement. Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

Thereby, positively impacting people's lives. From having no housing or living in temporary housing, many households now have decent housing, stable lives, rising out of poverty and becoming rich legitimately.

At the working session, relevant departments and branches of Lam Dong province highlighted the results of coordination in implementing the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses, demonstrating their determination to complete the tasks as planned.

Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen emphasized that the emulation movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is part of the major policy of the Party and State, arousing community responsibility towards poor households, near-poor households, ethnic minorities, and policy households. The Steering Committees at all levels have promptly proposed and implemented many appropriate solutions, completing the Program according to the set plan.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed relevant departments and branches to promptly supplement the assessment of the causes of achievements and lessons learned. From there, synthesize and report at the National Conference on the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
Units also need to organize evaluation and commend typical examples of businesses, philanthropists, and households working together to complete tasks in the area.
