Lychee export turnover through Lao Cai Border Gate reached over 32 million USD

According to data from Lao Cai provincial authorities, the total output of fresh lychee exported through Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II (Lao Cai Border Gate) reached over 50,000 tons, with export turnover reaching over 32 million USD.

More than 50,000 tons of fresh lychee were exported to China through Lao Cai Border Gate.

Accordingly, since the beginning of the lychee season, authorities at Lao Cai Border Gate have cleared nearly 3,600 trucks carrying fresh lychees for export to China, with a total output of over 50,000 tons; export turnover reached over 32 million USD.

Recently, to attract businesses to participate in exporting fresh lychee through the area, the functional forces of Lao Cai province continue to flexibly deploy a number of measures to create maximum favorable conditions for exporting fresh lychee.

In the 2025 lychee export season, the authorities at Lao Cai Border Gate created a separate customs clearance channel for lychees; customs, border guards, quarantine forces, etc. increased staff and arranged to work 1 hour earlier than usual to carry out export procedures for businesses, ensuring quick customs clearance for fresh lychee shipments.
