Streamlining the personnel of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at provincial and communal levels

According to the recently issued plan, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress is a special milestone, when it has merged and arranged socio- political organizations and mass associations assigned by the Party and State to be directly under the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The process of preparing and organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the provincial and communal levels and the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term is a broad and democratic political activity aimed at strongly changing the awareness, responsibility and actions of the entire political system and all classes of people in implementing the Party's strategic guidelines on strengthening and promoting the strength of great national unity; on the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period.

At the same time, this is also a process for the Front organization from the grassroots to the Central level to propose practical solutions to consolidate and perfect the organization, staff and launch a widespread practical emulation movement, making achievements to welcome the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.

The Congress will perfect the organization and staff of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the direction of streamlining, effective and efficient operations, in accordance with the Party and State's policy on reorganizing the two-level local government apparatus.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress is held after the Party Congress at the same level. At the commune level, it will be completed before October 31, 2025; at the provincial level, it will be completed before December 31, 2025. The congresses of socio-political organizations will be held immediately after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the same level.

The National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term will be completed in May 2026; the National Congress of socio-political organizations will be completed in June 2026.
