Practical model, effective spread
Conducting field surveys at a number of units, from independent military stations, technical centers, factories to schools, we noted the strong spread of many good models and effective methods, leaving a clear mark in the International Military Movement of the Corps. The common feature is that each model has clear criteria, specific methods, easy to apply and replicate.

The "Reporting Club" model of Battalion 77, Brigade 205 is a testament to a creative and effective way of working, contributing to improving professional qualifications, training the bravery and skills of officers and soldiers. The club meets regularly two afternoons a week, divides into groups according to professional level, assigns "reporting experts" to be in charge of mentoring and supporting individuals with limitations. According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 205, the club is not only a place to hone techniques and practice situation handling skills, but also a forum for exchanging, sharing experiences, and understanding the thoughts and feelings of soldiers. In practice, the model has proven to be clearly effective, becoming the "cradle" for training many "reporting experts", contributing to improving the overall quality of the unit.
Or the “Computer Club” model at the College of Information Technology, which has been maintained continuously since 2017, is a creative example in popularizing applied informatics and raising awareness of network security for students. The club operates periodically on a voluntary basis, directly organized by lecturers and students, with in-depth training contents such as: Using specialized software, system troubleshooting skills, preventing and combating malware, data security, etc.
Colonel Nguyen Duc Anh, Deputy Commissar of the College of Information Technology, said: "The model not only equips students with technological knowledge but also creates an intellectual playground, arouses passion for research, and combines theory with practice. The club is also a place to discover and nurture many students with talent in technology, helping the school build high-quality human resources, meeting the requirements of modernization tasks and ensuring the safety of the entire military's information technology system in the digital transformation period."
Through the International Movement, many new and creative models and methods of the Corps have been deployed, replicated and effectively promoted such as: Special page "Innovation in political education, propaganda and dissemination of law"; information graphics "Each week, 1 ideological situation that may arise in the unit and handling measures of grassroots cadres"; model "Each week, 1 video clip of propaganda about law", "Open letter"... contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of political education and ideological leadership. In addition, effective models at units of the Corps such as: "Model shift", "4-good information group", "Youth operation pair", "Elite mobile radio station", "Model radio station"...
Assessing the effectiveness of the emulation models, Colonel Do Trong Huan, Chief of Politics of the TTLL Corps, emphasized: "The emulation models not only contribute to concretizing the content of the International Movement but also create a practical environment for soldiers to promote their roles, intelligence and initiatives. Many models have become the nucleus of spreading emulation widely, improving the quality of training, the results of performing tasks, complying with the law, discipline, building a regular order and ensuring safety; thereby helping units comprehensively improve their overall quality, successfully completing all assigned tasks."
Successful experience shows that the emulation models of the Corps all originate from mission requirements, solving bottlenecks or weaknesses of the unit. Leaders and commanders of units clearly define goals, targets, and implementation methods, while mobilizing and promoting collective intelligence, encouraging officers and soldiers to contribute ideas and methods right from the start. On the other hand, Party committees and commanders at all levels regularly inspect, evaluate, and promptly adjust targets and implementation methods so that the model is always effective. When the model proves to be effective, it is necessary to organize a preliminary and final review, and replicate it to spread it into a general movement throughout the Corps.
Blooming "flowers" of good deeds
In practice, the TDQT Movement has become the "incubator" of hundreds of typical and advanced collectives and individuals (DHTT) in the entire Corps. The Radio Engineering Department, High-Tech Information Technology Center is one of the bright spots in creative emulation, with achievements: 5 consecutive years of winning the title of "Determined to Win Unit"; The Department has completed 1 State-level topic, 6 research tasks, won 6 army-wide awards, 5 "Creative Youth" awards at the Corps level. According to Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Ngoc, Head of the Radio Engineering Department, the secret to the Department's achievements is to build a disciplined system, train military style, create a good environment to train good people; at the same time, promote the passion and professionalism of technical staff.

At Brigade 134, we met the DHTT whose spirit and responsibility for selflessness for the mission permeated all their actions. A typical example is Major QNCN Pham Tien Danh, Station Chief of Station QB6 (formerly Station Chief of Station QC9), Battalion 81. Sharing with us over the phone while working with his teammates on the construction of the cable line in Quang Tri province, comrade Danh said: The station's characteristic is that it is stationed far from the command position, sometimes having to wake up in the middle of the night to handle broken cables, landslides on mountain roads, or when natural disasters, storms and floods isolate the station position for weeks. But above all, the spirit of self-management, responsibility, setting an example, and being ready to take on difficult tasks of the station commander helped him complete all tasks well.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Tuan, Head of the Information Technology Department, College of Information Technology, is a typical example in self-study, scientific research, improving professional qualifications, leading many topics, initiatives as well as researching and developing new applications and software. Comrade Tuan often does a good job of advising, proposing, organizing and implementing the work of applying and developing information technology and ensuring digital information security. Or with Captain Nguyen Manh Toan, Assistant to the Satellite Transmission and Information Technology Department, High-Tech Information Technology Center, Outstanding Young Face of the Army in 2021, Emulation Fighter of the Army in 2022, to achieve such achievements are long nights of hard work in the laboratory, the process of self-practicing tests, verifying theories, exploring, and determination to overcome difficulties and rise up...
According to Colonel Do Trong Huan, in recent years, the work of building and expanding the University of Information Technology in the TTLL Corps has been carried out synchronously in all four stages: Discovery, training, summary and expansion of the University of Information Technology. The selection of building the University of Information Technology is aimed at groups and individuals who directly carry out political tasks, training, combat readiness, work in difficult areas, and proactively research and master new technologies, equipment and technical innovations and improvements.
In addition, the work of summarizing, concluding, evaluating and rewarding is carried out promptly, publicly, democratically and strictly from the grassroots level; focusing on prioritizing units performing tasks in difficult and complicated areas; forces directly performing tasks; new factors, new examples... The forms of commendation and recognition are also innovated, diversified, promoting the spread through digital platforms, internal communications and the "emulation festival" model. Thanks to that, the movement does not stop at slogans but truly becomes a driving force for action, activating the creativity and determination of each officer and soldier.
In the period 2019-2024, the TTLL Corps has more than 600 collectives and individuals awarded with medals and orders, thousands of collectives and individuals have achieved emulation titles at all levels. More than 110 scientific topics and tasks have been accepted, including 16 topics at the Ministry of National Defense level. The entire Corps has 50 awards at the military level. |
