Reporting on the results of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development at the Institute of Military Science and Technology, Colonel Duong Nhat Dan, Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Director of the Institute of Military Science and Technology, said: In the past time, the Institute has organized to disseminate and promptly and fully deploy Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 3488-NQ/QUTW and implementing documents of the Ministry of National Defense to agencies and units. Thereby, the awareness of the importance of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of agencies and units in the Institute has been raised, the thinking of consulting, managing and implementing scientific and technological tasks has had many positive and clear changes.

The Institute has proactively deployed strategic technology research associated with its functions and tasks; synchronously and comprehensively deployed digital transformation and administrative reform closely following the plans of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

The Military Science and Technology Institute proposed that in the coming time, the Head of the Ministry of National Defense continue to assign important tasks in science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation to the Institute for implementation; direct agencies to allow the Institute to complete procedures and quickly deploy urgent science and technology programs and tasks to soon put products into service.

Focus on investing in depth in quantum technology potential at the Institute to strongly develop quantum applications in the military; assign the Institute to focus on researching and strongly developing a number of core technologies in the strategic technology group, serving the mastery of designing and manufacturing weapons and technical equipment of strategic significance.

After listening to opinions, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh praised the efforts and remarkable results in science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation of the Military Science and Technology Institute in recent times.

The Deputy Minister of National Defense requested that in the coming time, the Military Science and Technology Institute, in addition to focusing on researching core technologies, needs to manufacture complete products integrating many master technologies.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh noted that the Institute needs to select technology research that is suitable to its capacity but also must respond to development trends; there must be typical technology so that when technology is mentioned, the Institute of Military Science and Technology is known.

This year, the Institute must master a number of highly influential scientific and technological products, and the research and manufacturing time must be fast. In addition, the Institute needs to strongly develop a number of high and modern technologies, such as artificial intelligence and quantum technology in the military.
