Prime Minister attends the Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition "80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness"

On the evening of September 15, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi, the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 Years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" closed after nearly 20 days, leaving many special impressions in the hearts of the people and international friends. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and delivered a speech.

Attending the Closing Ceremony were: Former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Central Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Politburo member, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang ; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung.

Also attending were Deputy Prime Ministers; Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly ; Members of the Party Central Committee, Alternate Members of the Party Central Committee; Members of the Central Steering Committee celebrating major holidays and important historical events of the country; Members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Sub-committees serving the National Exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Leaders of Central Committees, Ministries, Branches, and Organizations; Leaders of Hanoi City and leaders of provinces and centrally-run cities. Leaders of corporations, general companies, enterprises, and typical businessmen of the country. Leaders, officers, employees, technicians, and volunteers of 230 exhibition spaces of Central and local committees, ministries, branches, organizations, and organizations and enterprises participating in the National Exhibition;

Ambassadors, Heads of representative agencies, international organizations, defense attaches of countries in Vietnam; many international friends who have supported the Vietnamese people in the cause of national liberation, innovation and development of the country and nearly 10 thousand spectators are present at the Vietnam Exhibition Center.

The National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is a key political and cultural activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Officially opened on August 28, the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of journey of independence - freedom - happiness" is an important event in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The exhibition is organized on the largest scale ever to honor the great achievements that our entire Party, army and people have achieved in the great revolutionary cause, under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

With the full participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities, more than 110 enterprises, large economic groups and hundreds of booths, welcoming millions of visitors, the Exhibition has shown the consensus, creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of national construction and development; contributing to promoting the strength of great national unity; at the same time contributing to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, strengthening the people's belief in the country's path of innovation and sustainable development, being an important occasion to promote the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam, deeply integrated with the international community.

According to the Organizing Committee, after 19 days of opening, the Exhibition has attracted over 10 million visitors. Of which, September 13th reached a record with nearly 1.3 million visitors.

The closing ceremony will summarize the outstanding results of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", and continue to spread the message of aspiration for a prosperous and happy country.
