Military Region 3: Units focus on data security during the digitalization process

From September 8 to 12, the Military Region 3 working group led by Colonel Tran Ngoc Yen, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Region, authorized by the Head of the Military Region Command, inspected the digitization of records and results of administrative procedure settlement at the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command, Hai Phong City Military Command; Brigades: 214, 513, 603; Division 395 and the agency of Military Region 3.

The inspection content focuses on leadership, direction, and propaganda on digitalization of records and results of administrative procedure settlement.

The working group directly grasps the situation of ensuring facilities, equipment, human resources, and finance for the implementation of digitalization of records and results of administrative procedure settlement.

Colonel Tran Ngoc Yen, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 3, concluded the inspection at Brigade 214.

Through inspection, it is shown that in the past time, the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units have always thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 3 on digitizing records and handling administrative procedures, considering this a key task; selecting and assigning cadres and employees with IT qualifications and professional expertise to directly undertake digitization work; organizing training and fostering skills in applying information technology and digitization software for 100% of full-time and part-time cadres and employees, ensuring that they meet requirements and tasks.

Up to now, agencies and units have established digitization teams, installed computers and scanners, and created a catalog of documents to digitize according to regulations, ensuring data safety and security.

Concluding the inspection at the units, Colonel Tran Ngoc Yen acknowledged the efforts of the agencies and units in digitizing records and handling administrative procedures.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 3 requested agencies and units to continue to direct the completion of the system of documents, regulations, processes for digitizing records and handling administrative procedures, clearly defining the responsibilities of each agency and individual; continue to improve human resources, focus on training and fostering specialized staff in digitalization; pay attention to investing in upgrading technical infrastructure and equipment; focus on ensuring information security and data confidentiality throughout the digitalization process.
