The content of the document should be clear: In order to promptly organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); in accordance with the spirit of the Notice of Conclusion of the meeting on May 29, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country in the 3 years 2023 - 2025 (Document No. 11-TB/BCĐTW dated June 9, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee), Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has the following instructions:
The Hanoi People's Committee shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to urgently complete the Plan for organizing the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march, report to the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for comments before promulgation; focus on directing site clearance to renovate and expand the Ba Dinh Square area to organize the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and march; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation status before July 15, 2025.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung chaired the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition of Socio -Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
The Ministry of National Defense shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of Public Security, Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to urgently complete and promulgate the Project on military parades and marches in June 2025; organize well the training, joint training, military parades, marches and related tasks; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation status before July 15, 2025.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently develop a scenario for the management of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade and march; develop a logo, identity set, and emblem as gifts for meetings of Party and State leaders on the occasion of the anniversary; develop a plan to establish a Press Center to direct and orient information on the anniversary activities, especially the Anniversary Ceremony, parade and march; prepare to organize a special art program and related tasks; report to the Deputy Prime Minister on the implementation status before July 31, 2025.
The Ministry of Public Security presides over and coordinates with the Ministry of National Defense, the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to develop a plan to ensure absolute security and safety for commemorative activities, especially key activities with the participation of leaders, former leaders of the Party, State and international delegates.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently complete the Plan to invite international delegates, foreign press reporters, and forces from other countries to attend the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, march and commemorative activities, and submit it to the Secretariat in June 2025.
The Ministry of Health shall preside over and coordinate with the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to develop a plan to ensure good medical work, and have a plan to take care of the health of leaders and former leaders of the Party and State, delegates attending the Anniversary Ceremony, parades, marches and other anniversary activities; paying special attention to ensuring food hygiene and safety, and the health of the people before, during and after the anniversary.
The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to develop a plan to launch a patriotic emulation movement and provide guidance on emulation and reward work on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); promptly synthesize and advise competent authorities to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and serving the celebration, parade, and march of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Vietnam Television shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministries of National Defense, Public Security, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to prepare well for live broadcasting: Anniversary ceremonies, parades, marches; Live television bridge; Special art programs and a number of other anniversary activities; focus on further improving the image quality in live broadcasting of key activities, especially Anniversary ceremonies, parades, marches.
The Voice of Vietnam Radio Station presides over and coordinates with relevant agencies to prepare well for the live broadcast of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade, march, and reporting on the anniversary activities.
The Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences presides over and coordinates with the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently issue a Plan to organize a national scientific conference in June 2025.
