In a few years, the hills of purple Lagerstroemia will be in full bloom, and domestic and foreign tourists will be able to check in before visiting the historical and cultural relic, attending the Kate festival of the Cham ethnic group, which is usually held at the foot of Po Sah Inư tower around October every year,” said Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan, Secretary of the Phu Thuy Ward Party Committee. Meanwhile, according to the Po Sah Inư Tower Relic Management Board, this summer, the relic site welcomed 900 - 1,200 domestic and foreign visitors every day. Since the beginning of the year, the relic site has welcomed nearly 75,000 visitors, showing the attraction of this historical and cultural relic, a tourist highlight in Phu Thuy.

With many coastal areas in Phu Thuy ward located in Mui Ne National Tourist Area, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1772 QD/TTg, dated December 18, 2018, it is considered an advantage for local tourism development in the overall development of the region. Currently, the Phu Thuy coastal area attracts 30 tourism projects that have been and are being implemented, creating jobs for many young local workers. Located along the DT 706B tourist route, next to the complete commercial - service complex, the clean land of 48 hectares, the province is preparing to auction, attracting investors to build a commercial and service area, creating a modern urban appearance along this tourist route.

As the potential and advantages of the coast are considered the highlight of Phu Thuy in the coming years. The preservation of historical and cultural relics of Lau Ong Hoang, Po Sah Inu tower, the preservation of fishing villages, craft villages, and the protection of the coastal ecological environment are focused on stimulating tourism. At the same time, Phu Thuy invites large enterprises to invest in exploiting land funds, developing tourism, trade, and services; Taking advantage of provincial resources, investing in synchronous traffic connections with Phan Thiet Airport, attracting tourists. The locality encourages people and businesses to invest in equipment for catching high-value seafood, not only processing seafood for export but also serving culinary tourism. Phu Thuy also builds an e-commerce infrastructure system, improving OCOP products to serve a large number of customers visiting and shopping for souvenirs during their trips to the coastal land of Lam Dong.

Focus on coastal economic advantages

At the recent Congress of Phu Thuy Ward Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, reminded Phu Thuy to base on its potential and advantages to determine key targets, effectively use local resources, especially coastal economic advantages to accelerate breakthroughs, contributing to the overall growth of the province. In the immediate future, to create a green, clean and beautiful landscape, Phu Thuy Ward has launched campaigns to plant more trees such as drought-resistant purple Lagerstroemia to green the Ba Nai hill area where Po Sah Inư tower is located, creating a highlight for domestic and foreign tourists before this unique landscape. The ward mobilized the shock force of union members, youth, people and functional units in campaigns to plant suitable ornamental trees and flowers on major roads, parks, internal roads of residential areas in the ward, associated with protecting the coastal environment, river branches flowing through the area, creating urban green space; Building Phu Thuy into a green, civilized and modern place.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the ward focus on developing a modern urban economy, attracting investment in the fields of trade - services, tourism, processing industry; urban beautification; reasonable urban development, harmoniously connecting neighboring wards. The ward coordinates with departments and branches to implement infrastructure projects in the area, support private economic development according to Resolution 68 of the Politburo; support innovative startups; apply science and technology in production and business. The locality focuses on improving the operational efficiency of the ward's Public Administration Service Center associated with digital transformation, promoting the application of information technology, serving people and businesses, in implementing economic targets in the area in the next 5 years. Currently, Phu Thuy has 6,210 enterprises and business households.

Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh suggested that Phu Thuy Ward Party Committee promote the fine tradition of experienced Party members in the area, with 2,342 Party members; strengthen Party building work, and a clean and strong political system. The Party Committee builds a contingent of cadres and Party members with strong political will, good moral qualities, and capacity, putting the interests of the people first, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
