Kim Bong Traditional Craft Village Festival 2025 takes place on February 8 and 9 (January 11 and 12). The activities at the festival, especially the experience of traditional crafts, quickly attracted the attention of tourists. Many international tourists were curious and excited to experience basket weaving, mat weaving... with the support of skilled craftsmen in the village.
Mr. Robin - a tourist from France shared that when observing the weaving operations of the old man in the village, it looked quite simple, but in reality, through experience, we understood that to complete the product requires a lot of technical operations, only skilled workers can follow the correct process.
To attract people and tourists to participate in this year's festival, the organizers will offer free tickets to visit Kim Bong carpentry village and experience boating on the river on February 8 and 9, 2025.
According to Mr. Huynh Ngoc Hung - Chairman of Cam Kim Commune People's Committee, the festival is both an opportunity to show gratitude to the ancestors of the profession and to preserve and promote the values of unique craft villages and the peaceful countryside of Cam Kim.
