Delegates attending the National Professional Stage Arts Festival on "The Image of the People's Public Security Soldier".

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To stated that the 5th National Professional Stage Arts Festival on “The Image of the People's Public Security Soldier” in 2025 is a cultural and artistic activity of practical significance to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security (Public Security) Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, with 25 plays by 21 art units inside and outside the Public Security Force.

The works focus on vividly depicting the image of the police officer; depicting the image of Uncle Ho with the People's Public Security Forces and the People's Public Security Forces studying and following his teachings; praising the revolutionary qualities and glorious heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces over 80 years of building, fighting and growing; praising and promoting typical, intelligent and brave examples in the fight to protect national security and ensure social order and safety.

This is also an opportunity for professional art units, artists and actors inside and outside the People's Public Security Forces to exchange experiences, discover and explore new creations on the topic of security and order and the image of the People's Public Security Forces in the hearts of the people.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To expressed his belief that with a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and passion for art, more than 600 artists and actors from 21 art units will bring all their talents to perform, contributing to the festival and the public, officers and soldiers with unique and attractive art performances, leaving a good impression in the hearts of officers, soldiers and people.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the CAND Drama Theater opened the festival with the play “The Third Person”. The work praises the dedication and sacrifice of Vietnamese artists and intellectuals in the struggle for national liberation and reunification. During the difficult period of the country, when the North and South were still divided, many artists and writers, who carried the ideal of national peace , became security intelligence soldiers, committing themselves to the dangerous silent front. They put aside their personal feelings and ideals to serve the great ideal of the nation.

The work is directed by Colonel, People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thuy Hien, Director of the CAND Drama Theater; directed by People's Artist Le Hung, staged according to the script by author Minh Anh, and performed by the artists of the CAND Drama Theater.

After the first performance night of the CAND Drama Theater, 24 works of art units will continue to be performed at the Army Theater (No. 130 Ho Tung Mau Street, Mai Dich, Cau Giay, Hanoi) in the mornings and evenings, from June 25 to July 6. The closing ceremony of the festival will be held at Ho Guom Theater on July 7.
