Phu Giao District: Completing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

(BDO) On the morning of June 19, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Phu Giao District held a ceremony to hand over a gratitude house to the family of Ms. Vo Kim Phu, a policy beneficiary residing in Ward 9, Phuoc Vinh Town.

Ms. Tran Hong Dung, Vice Chairman of Phu Giao District People's Committee, presented the decision to hand over the house.

The house has an area of ^​​80m² , with a total value of 140 million VND. Of which, 100 million VND was taken from the mobilization of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the District, the rest was contributed by the family. The support for building the house is to help Mrs. Phu's family have a solid and spacious home.

Mr. Nguyen Khoa Hai, Secretary of the District Party Committee and Ms. Tran Hong Dung, Vice Chairman of Phu Giao District People's Committee presented gifts to the family.

On this occasion, leaders of Phu Giao district and Phuoc Vinh town presented gifts and encouraged the family to stabilize their lives.

Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Government , Phu Giao district has so far completed the construction and repair of 21 houses for policy beneficiaries, poor households, and near-poor households with difficult housing circumstances with a total cost of more than 1.6 billion VND.

In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district built and donated 11 Great Solidarity houses with a total value of 1.3 billion VND; the Red Cross Association of the district built and donated 7 Red Cross houses with a total value of more than 700 million VND.
