
The conference gathered more than 50 research papers covering many fields such as Korean languageeducation , translation and interpretation, along with cultural content and many other diverse fields from more than 100 professors, researchers, researchers and lecturers in Korea, Vietnam, Japan, China...
In addition to the presentations, the conference also focused on parallel discussion sessions, especially in-depth professional analysis and proposed solutions in the fields of Korean language and culture teaching and translation and interpretation training in the digital age.
Mr. Woo Hyoung Min - Chief Representative of the Korea Foundation (KF) in Vietnam said that since 2021, Korean has been selected as the first foreign language of Vietnam, and Korean classes are being widely implemented in secondary and high schools nationwide. As of 2025, 48 universities nationwide, including Dong A University, have established Korean Language and Korean Studies Departments, with more than 27,000 students studying. Currently, the number of candidates participating in the 100th Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) has increased from 16,000 to 63,000.
According to Mr. Luong Minh Sam - Chairman of the Council of Dong A University, the theme of the conference "Korean Language and Culture Exchange and Teaching in the Digital Age" is not only topical, but also reflects strategic concerns in language and culture training in the digital age, where language and culture teaching is not only about communication, but also about connecting people - between cultures - and between educational systems that are increasingly diverse and flexible.
The conference is an annual academic forum hosted by INK, held in rotation in countries with strong development in Korean studies. This year, the event took place in Vietnam, and was also the 43rd international scientific conference co-organized by Dong A University with research institutes, universities, organizations, scientists and experts from home and abroad.

At the program, two cooperation agreements on education and academic exchange, and development of Korean language teaching were also signed, including cooperation between Dong A University and the International Association for the Study of Korean Language and Culture to promote international research and education activities, exchange information and research materials, and coordinate the organization of international exchange programs and conferences...
Dong A University and the International Association of Korean Translators and Interpreters also signed a cooperation agreement to develop Korean language teaching programs, participate in joint research projects, exchange academic documents, and promote the implementation of Korean translation and interpretation assessment exams in Vietnam.
