On July 10, the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security informed about the results of the first 6 months of 2025 of the Traffic Police force.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Traffic Police force has drastically and synchronously deployed many solutions to ensure traffic safety and order, bringing high efficiency.
The national traffic police force inspected and handled 1,668,888 cases of violations of road, railway and inland waterway traffic safety order, revoked 149,070 driving licenses, certificates and professional certificates, and temporarily detained 424,077 vehicles of all kinds.
Road traffic handled 1,636,306 cases (310,058 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 2,397 cases of drug-positive driving, 18,627 cases of overloading, 398,822 cases of speeding violations, 76,507 cases of driving in the wrong lane, road section, using the phone...)
Notably, the traffic police force detected and handled 38,651 cases of students violating traffic safety regulations (accounting for 2.36%) of the handled violations.
Railways, handling 1,749 cases and waterways, handling 30,833 cases.
The Traffic Police directly and in coordination with the functional forces inspected and detected 1,524 cases of criminal, economic and environmental violations, arrested 1,587 subjects (including 5 wanted subjects, 60 subjects illegally entering the country). Thereby, confiscated 141.8 kg and 247,413 synthetic drug pills; 107,070 packs of foreign cigarettes and many other valuable items handed over to the authorities for handling according to regulations...
