On the morning of June 11, at Regiment 935 (Air Division 370, Air Defense - Air Force, stationed in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai ), the Parade and Marching Subcommittee of the armed forces organized joint training to prepare for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The participants in the parade and marching drills include the army, militia, and police with more than 10,000 people. The groups participating in the parade and marching drills are divided into two groups, including 47 walking groups and 15 standing groups.

The outgoing bloc includes 24 military forces; 12 police forces and 11 departments and agencies of Ho Chi Minh City. The standing bloc includes 8 military forces; 5 police forces and 2 departments and agencies of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Cultural and Sports Block under the responsibility of Ho Chi Minh City has not yet performed at today's training session.

At the training session, the Vietnamese air force performed a welcome flight, with the participation of 10 helicopters; 7 SU-30MK2 "king cobra" fighter jets; and a squadron of Yak-130 multi-role training aircraft participating in the training.

The joint training program includes the Party and State's rituals and ceremonies performed by the Army and the parade.

According to the Parade and Marching Subcommittee, the parade practice session of the armed forces passing through the stands and performing aerial flights will follow the same scenario at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.

Previously, in early April 2025, more than 3,300 officers and soldiers of the Army and Police forces mobilized from the North and Central regions to Bien Hoa city to practice and prepare for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

At the joint training session on April 11, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee worked with the units to carry out the scenarios, and at the same time make adjustments and draw lessons to prepare for the following joint training session.
