Accordingly, the district HNM has stood as a guarantee with the district Social Policy Bank for members to borrow capital to develop the economy . Currently, the Association is managing over 300 million VND from the national employment fund loan. Members who have borrowed capital have used it for the right purpose, ensuring to pay principal and interest on time. Many members have focused on investing in developing effective and stable livestock models. Typically, Mr. Vu Xuan Truong, Nghia Son commune, raises livestock and poultry with an income of over 100 million VND/year; Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc, Nghia Tan commune, invested in opening a grocery store, earning tens of millions of VND/year. In addition, many members are given the opportunity to attend Braille classes for the visually impaired, basic computer classes, massage, acupressure, etc. Up to now, in the district, there are 5 massage and acupressure facilities directly managed by members, creating jobs for 20 workers with an average salary of 6 million VND/person/month. The total revenue of massage and acupressure facilities in the year reached 1 billion VND. In addition, the district's HNM has 1 concentrated bamboo toothpick production facility, creating jobs for members with an income of 100,000 VND/person/day.

Along with job creation support, the district HNM also coordinates with agencies and units of the district to ensure that 100% of members receive monthly allowances, are granted health insurance cards for free medical examination and treatment; support children of members to borrow preferential loans through the student channel of the Social Policy Bank to help students continue studying and complete courses at universities and colleges... The district HNM also proactively proposes to the district Departmentof Education and Training to exempt some school contributions for children of members of school age; regularly reviews visually impaired children of school age to create conditions for them to study culture, learn to read and write, learn a trade... Many children achieve high academic achievements. The Association also regularly propagates and mobilizes members to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, local regulations, and fulfill their civic duties; caring for and helping each other spiritually and materially, striving to integrate into the community. Responding to the movement to build new rural areas and the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", 100% of member families educate their children to not have social evils; many families are recognized as "Cultural Families".

The district's Women's Union also focuses on promoting cultural and artistic movements among its members, especially female members, to help improve their spiritual life, eliminate self-consciousness, and confidently integrate into life. Every year, on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8), Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) and International Children's Day (June 1), the district's Women's Union organizes cultural and artistic exchange programs between female members and visually impaired children, thereby sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences among members. The Union at all levels has also mobilized philanthropists and businesses to sponsor meetings and give gifts to female members. The district's Women's Union also regularly organizes talks on the founding day of the Vietnam Women's Union; discussing issues of labor, employment and family life to help women have confidence and actively integrate into society.

Ms. Le Thi Nhung, Chairwoman of Nghia Hung District Women's Union, said: “Over the years, the district Women's Union has had many activities to care for and help women and children with disabilities such as: Community education and communication to eliminate discrimination against women and children with disabilities in general, and women and children with disabilities in particular; disseminating information related to gender, life skills, and health care. In addition, agencies and functional units also have many support programs, creating conditions for female members and children with disabilities to have the opportunity to study, improve knowledge and skills; creating conditions for borrowing capital for economic development in accordance with their abilities. These practical activities have helped them gain more confidence and strive to improve their lives.”

Since its establishment, the HNM of Nghia Hung district has always been a common home, caring for the material and spiritual life, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the blind in the area. Despite many difficulties, the Association's activities always focus on the grassroots level, actively mobilizing the blind to participate in the Association to care for, support and help each other, arousing the spirit of "self-mobilization" to strive to integrate into the community, eliminating social inferiority.

Despite many disadvantages in life, many blind people in Nghia Hung always have the will and determination to rise up. With the timely support and encouragement of the association at all levels and the community, many members have had a stable life. In the coming time, the HNM organization will continue to propose to the authorities, coordinate to promote literacy and vocational training, call for and mobilize more resources from the social community to give gifts, repair houses, and support members in difficulty. At the same time, strengthen propaganda so that the community and society can better understand the aspirations and working capacity of blind people, thereby having attention, sharing, and helping blind people integrate into the community.
