“I just help whoever I can, I don’t think about anything deeper. If I give love, I will receive a smile in return,” Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Khan, an official of the Women’s Union of Thuan Loc ward, shared simply after being commended at the conference summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo on “Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle” in Phu Xuan district recently.

Without showing off or making a fuss, Ms. Khan’s actions touched the hearts of those around her. When she learned about the difficult circumstances of the members and residents in the residential group, she proactively proposed support from the Association and the government, mobilizing social resources to share. She connected the TRT Radio program “Connecting the Hearts of Love” to poor households, such as Ms. To Thi Dinh and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu, with a total amount of nearly 80 million VND; supported students who had accidents; and together with the Red Cross Society of the ward, presented gifts and cash to families in distress…

“Whatever I do, I put my heart and sense of responsibility into it and always think that I work not for myself but for everyone,” Ms. Khan confided.

In the field of education promotion, from 2022 to present, she has guided and connected more than 80 scholarships from programs such as Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Lighting up Faith, Hue Hieu Hoc with a total value of more than 1.2 billion VND, including many full scholarships of 40 - 50 million VND.

In 2022, she was honored by Thua Thien Hue province (now Hue city) as one of the 10 typical faces studying and following Uncle Ho. In 2024, she continued to be an outstanding individual in the "Green Sunday - Sunday for the community" movement.

Not only from exemplary individuals, the spirit of learning and following Uncle Ho's example is also clearly demonstrated in the creative and widespread work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Xuan district.

According to Mr. Truong Quang Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, the movements "Day for the Poor", "Sunday for the Community", "Zero-VND Market", "Solidarity Tet - Loving Spring Gifts"... have mobilized tens of billions of VND, given nearly 15,000 gifts, built and repaired nearly 1,000 Great Solidarity houses.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has actively mobilized people to join hands in preventing and fighting natural disasters and epidemics, supporting more than 50 tons of food and more than 15 billion VND to help people overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

With the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", Phu Xuan district has built 21 green cultural points, launched 110/159 residential areas to build "Civilized - friendly - safe - rich in identity residential areas", planted more than 4,000 rose bushes and thousands of flower trees, renovated hundreds of roads and alleys, creating an increasingly "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" urban appearance.

Development foundation from Ho Chi Minh's moral ideology

Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Xuan District Party Committee Nguyen Hai Dang said: Over the past 10 years, Party committees, authorities, fronts and organizations have issued more than 1,000 documents to lead and direct the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo, making learning from Uncle Ho a routine in Party cell activities, offices and communities.

Full-term and annual study topics were organized extensively with 387 conferences and nearly 100,000 participants, thereby helping cadres, party members and people gain a deeper understanding of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Studying Uncle Ho is linked to political tasks and prominent local issues such as land clearance, administrative reform, environmental protection and cultural heritage preservation.

Phu Xuan District is also the place that actively implements the movement "Joining hands for a clean, green and beautiful Ngu Ha River"; relocates residents in Area I of Hue Citadel, builds a friendly tourism environment, develops models such as "60 minutes to clean house, beautiful alley", "Green Huong River"...

As a result, the whole district had 147 individuals and 129 groups being commended; the city level alone recognized 6 individuals and 4 groups as exemplary in studying and following Uncle Ho.

Practical actions, though small, have touched the hearts of the community, that is how examples of learning from Uncle Ho such as Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Khan, or collective models in Phu Xuan are quietly spreading. From those simple things, Ho Chi Minh's ideology is not only a guideline for all actions, but also a source of living humanity, so that each person, each neighborhood, each organization can contribute to building a humane, affectionate, and sustainable society.
