On the morning of June 22, the press conference after the coronation of Miss Universe Vietnam - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 was attended by Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh - Miss Universe Vietnam, Do Cam Ly - Runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam and representatives of the organizing committee.
Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh could not hide her excitement, admitting that she is currently still in a "high" state and can only "load about 5% of the truth that she has become a beauty queen in her head."
The 26-year-old girl from Ho Chi Minh City confided that this was truly a dream that she could not fully believe. Over the past two and a half months, Phuong Linh and the other contestants have strived to overcome many challenges and experienced a range of emotions to reach the final night.
"I think my victory is a blessing to be recognized and I am very grateful. But I also feel a bit pressured because I don't know how to fully take on this position," Phuong Linh confided.
However, she is also determined to commit to devoting all her abilities and efforts to creating a meaningful term with the Miss Cosmo Vietnam organization and making many positive contributions to society.

Phuong Linh affirmed that she will spend 100% of the cash prize to invest in hereducational project. She shared a specific plan including researching practical needs, learning about modern technological solutions and connecting with people who can support to bring the project into reality as quickly and effectively as possible and hopes that such a project will be implemented before the time of Miss Cosmo International.
When asked about her goal in the international arena, Phuong Linh frankly admitted: "I don't have a clear answer yet whether I want to be in the top 5, top 10 or top 20. I will probably need another 1-2 weeks or a month to absorb the knowledge and then have a clearer answer." However, she emphasized her goal of showing international friends a modern, confident Vietnamese girl.
Miss Phuong Linh did not hesitate to share about the challenges of being a "newbie" with no artistic background. She admitted that she did not know how to do makeup before the program, was shy about taking photos, and was somewhat self-conscious due to her height, often hunchbacked during the first practice sessions.
Regarding her inactivity on social media, Phuong Linh smiled and admitted that she used to post an Instagram post every 3-4 months, but during the competition she tried hard to learn to post 1-2 TikTok videos every day and interact with the audience more. The beauty queen refused to reveal her personal love life.

When asked about the controversial tattoo, Phuong Linh shared that it was a personal decision that reminded her of what she had been through. She explained: "Tattoos are a very personal decision for each person. It's a small tattoo on my arm that reminds me of what I've been through in the past - happy times, sad times."
She also shared about the difficult period when she first went to study abroad at the age of 17-18, when she had to face a new environment. Luckily, she had a friend who was a psychologist who helped her overcome the darkest moments.
Phuong Linh shares about the period of psychological crisis:
Runner-up Do Cam Ly, 22 years old, from Phu Tho , also appreciates and is grateful for the new title.
Regarding her impression of the beauty queen, Cam Ly confided: "Ms. Phuong Linh has a very gentle and sweet energy and makes me feel comfortable when I'm around her. Even though we are still competitors in the competition, when I'm with Ms. Phuong Linh, I feel very safe." She also promised to enthusiastically support Phuong Linh's project.
Runner-up Cam Ly was moved when mentioning her father - a journalist - who has always been her greatest source of motivation. She recounted an unforgettable memory of staying up all night doing scientific research, crying because of too much pressure at 3am, then her father woke up, hugged her, comforted her and went to buy breakfast for her.
Cam Ly shares about her father:
At the press conference, the representative of the Organizing Committee affirmed the transparency of the contest. He emphasized: "With such a scale and workload, the first thing we put first is the transparency of the contest - something that cannot be traded and has not been traded for many years".
He explained that the scoring system uses a proprietary app, ensuring objectivity as judges evaluate each candidate individually, then the system automatically calculates the average score and ranking.
Regarding the fact that some candidates stumbled but still made it to the top, Mr. Hoang frankly said: "If any candidates stumble, I admit that it is the fault of the organizers more than the candidates. When evaluating candidates, the judges will look at many factors in general, not just one small stumble."
Regarding the upcoming Miss Cosmo international contest in December, the organizers revealed that more than 80 countries have signed copyright contracts to send contestants to participate, promising an extremely competitive competition season.
The organizers have planned a homecoming for both Phuong Linh in Ho Chi Minh City and Cam Ly in Phu Tho in the near future. This will be an opportunity for the two girls to meet, thank their homeland and carry out their first community activities.
