The spring rice production area in 2025 in Hai Ha district is about 1,391.2 hectares, at this time the rice is in the growth stage of intensive tillering and panicle formation. Through inspection, investigation and monitoring, pests that can affect rice yield and quality, especially field mice, have been detected. To minimize the damage caused by mice to crops and yield, it is necessary to kill mice simultaneously, using synchronous measures. The Agricultural Technical Service Center has organized the free distribution of 38,954 packages of DIOF 0.006AB brand medicine. This is a very effective rat poison, used by many people.
In addition, the Center's technical staff also provides instructions on how to use the drug safely and effectively. The free distribution of rat poison to farmers in communes and towns in the area aims to limit damage caused by field rats, help rice grow and develop well, ensure productivity, crop output and economic value for Hai Ha farmers.
