Hanoi deploys online administrative queue number collection via iHanoi application

From July 21, the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center has deployed online queue number collection via the iHanoi application. This solution helps people and businesses to be proactive, save time, and is a concrete step in administrative reform.

After implementing the two-tier local government model, Hanoi continues to enhance the application of digital technology in administrative reform to improve service quality. According to the announcement from the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center, one of the latest solutions is the launch of the feature of getting queue numbers and making online appointments via the iHanoi application, starting from July 21, 2025 at all branches of the Center.

This solution allows people to register for a queue number at home, helping to save waiting time and proactively arrange their personal schedules. To use it, people follow the steps instructed by the Hanoi City Public Administration Service Center:

Step 1: Download and log in to iHanoi App with VNeID account.

Step 2: Select the "Public Services" utility → Select the "Schedule to perform public services" feature → "Select to schedule" → "Select branch" → "Select to submit application or return results" → "Select Field" → "Select to schedule" to perform.

Step 3: The system will automatically issue an online queue number to the citizen.

The time for citizens to get a number is from 8:00 p.m. every day on the application until the number runs out. After successful registration, the application will display the citizen's queue number, and also display the queue number being served at the counter. This helps citizens estimate their turn time to proactively move to do the procedure.

The Hanoi City Public Administration Service Center pointed out that the implementation of this feature is a concrete step in the process of modernizing the administrative system, towards a professional, friendly and paperless public administration service center model. This is also a testament to Hanoi City's determination to put people and businesses at the center of service.
