Hanoi: Quickly extinguished a large fire on Xuan Dieu Street

In the early morning of September 8, a large fire broke out at 176 Xuan Dieu Street (Tay Ho Ward, Hanoi) and was promptly controlled by the Hanoi Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC-CNCH), preventing the fire from spreading widely.

Accordingly, the fire broke out at around 2:00 a.m. the same day. Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force of Areas 7, 8 and 14 (under Hanoi Police) mobilized nearly 50 officers and soldiers along with specialized vehicles to the scene to put out the fire.

The fire broke out at a row of shops selling food, motorbike repair, and electricity and water supplies... with a temporary structure made of steel frames and corrugated iron roofs, one story high. The area of ​​the fire was about 150 square meters, with the main combustible materials being oil, plastic, and flammable materials.

Authorities coordinated with local authorities to demolish the collapsed structure, open access, and use excavators and water trucks to control the fire.

By 3:00, the fire was under control; by 4:00, the fire was completely extinguished. No human casualties were recorded. Property damage is being assessed.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
