- From September 5 to September 9, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism presided over and coordinated with the Tourism Development Support Fund and related units to organize a program to introduce Vietnamese tourism and connect businesses in Bengaluru and Hyderabad (India). A delegation from the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion participated in activities to promote Lang Son tourism in the program.
The delegation was led by Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Pham Van Thuy, with the participation of 31 tourism agencies and units nationwide and 28 tourism service businesses. This is an activity within the 2025 Tourism Promotion and Stimulus Program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, contributing to the goal of welcoming 25 million international visitors.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation of Lang Son province participated in common activities such as: meeting and connecting B2B businesses with the participation of 150 delegates from tourism, travel, hotel, aviation, transportation and theme park businesses of the two countries, creating a forum to introduce products, seek cooperation opportunities, build specialized service packages for the Indian tourist market; introducing Vietnam's tourism destinations and products with updated information on development status, favorable visa policies, aviation connections, and tourism infrastructure systems.
In particular, at each destination, the delegation of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Lang Son province introduced to foreign tourists the typical cultural and tourism features of Lang Son and Lang Son tourism publications and products such as: Check-in map of Lang Son tourist destinations; Lang Son's special tourist tours; Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark and provincial tourism brand identity products including the tourism mascot baby peach, lapel logo, conical hat, etc.
Promoting Lang Son tourism in the international market is an important step, helping the province attract more international visitors and develop sustainable tourism. With proper investment, Lang Son will become an ideal destination for tourists from India in the future.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Lang Son tourism in particular and Vietnam tourism in general to affirm its attractiveness, strengthen connections with the potential Indian market, contribute to expanding cooperation space and towards the goal of sustainable development of the industry in the new period.
