People's Procuracy of Region I learns and follows Uncle Ho

In recent times, cadres, civil servants, and employees of the People's Procuracy of Region I (formerly the People's Procuracy of Thanh Hoa City) have continuously cultivated, trained, and actively implemented many solutions to improve work efficiency, build a clean and strong unit, and contribute to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.

People's Procuracy of Region I discussed solutions to improve the quality of practicing the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities.

In order for the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle to be carried out seriously, effectively and become a regular and continuous task, the Party Cell of the People's Procuracy of Region I determined: To carry out the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle effectively, it is necessary to closely combine theory and practice; between propaganda and education with the effectiveness and quality of professional work.

On that basis, the Party cell is always united and fully, seriously and deeply grasps the directives, resolutions, programs, and guidance documents of the higher-level Party Committees on the content of studying and following Uncle Ho to cadres, Party members and employees in the unit. At the same time, closely following the direction of the higher-level Party Committees, the Party cell has developed a plan to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, associated with innovating leadership, direction and operation methods, improving the quality and effectiveness of professional tasks. In particular, focusing on mobilizing cadres, civil servants and employees in the unit to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements of the industry and locality.

The unit's leaders always promote responsibility, proactiveness, innovation in thinking, leadership methods, and direction in performing the tasks of the agency and unit; at the same time, specifically identify and attach responsibility to individuals and collective leaders in implementing work plans and programs. In addition, maintain solidarity and unity; improve working style, rectify discipline and order, first of all from the exemplary responsibility of the leader. Along with that, focus on building a team of cadres and civil servants who have a firm grasp of the law, are good at professional expertise, have professional ethics, and strong political will, meeting the requirements and assigned tasks. Each prosecutor, civil servant, and employee is always "honest, dedicated, and responsible" in performing their tasks; well implementing the motto "Solidarity, responsibility - discipline, integrity - courage, efficiency".

In professional work, the practice of the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities is fully and accurately implemented by the People's Procuracy of Region I in accordance with the provisions of law. The practice of the right to prosecute and supervise investigation is carried out from the moment a crime is reported until the end of the investigation. In which, 100% of the crime reports and denunciations are resolved on time. The team of prosecutors always closely follows the investigation process for each assigned case, proactively reports to the leaders about difficulties and problems to resolve them as soon as they arise; sets out timely and accurate investigation requirements, ensuring that the investigation must be objective, comprehensive, complete, accurate, and in accordance with the law, without wrongful convictions or criminals being missed. The prosecution of criminal responsibility for the accused is well-founded; timely detection of violations of the law during the investigation process to overcome and strictly handle them; Resolutely not approve or cancel groundless and illegal decisions of the investigation agency...

The prosecution of criminal cases is ensured to be on time, with the right person, the right crime, and the right law; for many consecutive years, there has been no case of wrongful conviction or omission of a criminal; there has been no case of prosecution by the Procuracy but the court declared the defendant not guilty; there has been no case of suspension of the defendant because he did not commit a crime... Coordination between the Procuracy and the prosecution agencies and relevant agencies has been strengthened. In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, the People's Procuracy of Region I has accepted to practice the right to prosecute 224 cases, 432 defendants; resolved 224 cases, 432 defendants (reaching 100%); accepted to practice the right to prosecute and supervise the first-instance trial of 249 cases, 495 defendants; issued 2 recommendations requesting the investigation agency to remedy violations in investigation activities...

Along with that, the unit identifies the application of information technology as a key and breakthrough task in its work. At the same time, it applies "digitalization of records" in all stages of professional work, improving the quality of the implementation of document and visual evidence publication at court hearings; focusing on the application of software for managing directive and executive documents, internal email software, software for managing criminal and civil cases of the Supreme People's Procuracy. The unit effectively implements the work of practicing thrift, combating waste, implementing democratic regulations, internal spending regulations, and managing the use of public assets...

Uncle Ho's teachings have been concretized by the officers of the People's Procuracy of Region I through actions and deeds, closely coordinating with judicial agencies to effectively carry out the fight against violations and crimes, contributing to maintaining political stability, order and social security in the area, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
