Vietnam Buddhist Sangha sends thank you letter to Da Nang City Police

On June 9, the City Police Department said that the unit had just received a letter of thanks from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha for supporting the successful organization of the event to honor and worship Buddha's relics at Quan The Am Pagoda, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City.

According to Project 98/DA-HDTS on organizing the United Nations Vesak Festival 2025, the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Executive Board of the Buddhist Sangha of Da Nang City will organize the procession of the Buddha's relics - the national treasure of India from Chuong Pagoda, Hung Yen City, Hung Yen Province to enshrine at Quan The Am Pagoda, Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City from May 30 to June 2, 2025.

The procession and worship of Buddha's relics in Da Nang city attracted tens of thousands of people to attend. The event was a great success, bringing faith and satisfying the spiritual and cultural needs of Buddhist followers, city residents and tourists from all over the country.

The Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Executive Board of the Da Nang City Buddhist Sangha would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for your contributions of heart, mind, and money in supporting and helping the Sangha to contribute to the success of the historic event of Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2569.

According to the leader of the City Police, the time when the City Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee organized the procession, enshrinement, and worship of Buddha's relics at Quan The Am Pagoda, Ngu Hanh Son District coincided with the opening of DIFF 2025. Therefore, the City Police made efforts to deploy forces in parallel at both events, separating tasks but still ensuring synchronization and rhythm; building a plan to coordinate forces and vehicles in a flexible and practical manner to meet the requirements of dual tasks during this peak period.
