World gold price today June 10, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 3:00 p.m. on June 10, Vietnam time, was 3,323.67 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 2.22 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,220 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 109.1 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 8.73 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Gold prices rose slightly as the market focused on developments from the second day of US-China trade talks in London. However, a rising US dollar limited the potential upside of the precious metal.
Specifically, spot gold prices increased slightly by 0.07%, while gold futures in the US were also little changed at 3,350.3 USD. The USD index (.DXY) increased by 0.2% against other currencies, making gold more expensive for investors using other foreign currencies.
The talks between the world's two largest economies have focused on a range of issues, from tariffs to restrictions on rare earth metals exports. "With the ongoing US-China talks, the gold market is trading cautiously until there is a clear signal of progress between the two superpowers," said Tim Waterer, market analyst at KCM Trade.
US President Donald Trump said his administration was making progress in the talks. Last month, the two sides suspended tariffs on each other’s goods, easing tensions in financial markets.
China’s export growth slowed to a three-month low in May as the impact of US tariffs weighed on the country’s economy, while industrial price deflation deepened to its worst in two years, data showed.
On the other hand, US inflation data, due out on Wednesday, could provide important clues about the Federal Reserve's monetary policy. "If the CPI (consumer price index) rises slightly, that's the expected outcome. But if it rises sharply, that could unsettle investors and push them into safe haven assets like gold," Waterer said.
While gold prices rose slightly, silver prices fell 0.5% to $36.55 an ounce. Platinum also fell slightly by 0.4% to $1,211.90, while palladium lost 0.8% to $1,066.28.
