FPTU AI & Robotics Challenge 2025: 50 warrior teams ready to enter the Finals

FPTU AI & Robotics Challenge 2025 - a national technology playground organized by FPT University has been the center of attention in the community of high school students who love technology recently. Surpassing nearly 200 teams competing in the regional Robotics round, the 50 best teams are ready to enter the National Final round taking place in Hanoi next August.

With more than 180 teams from high schools nationwide, the Robotics round took place from June 21 to June 22 . - 6. 7 within the framework of FPTU AI & Robotics Challenge 2025 (FARC 2025) has officially concluded its exciting journey in 5 major cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Quy Nhon (Gia Lai) and Can Tho. Not just a regular technology competition, FARC 2025 is affirming its position as a major academic playground. The best competition for high school students in the field of AI and Robotics in Vietnam, organized by FPT University.

FARC 2025 attracts 636 teams from 59 provinces/cities across the country

Technology Competition - A place to inspire passion for technology for students nationwide

With the theme of "Sustainable Agriculture ", the Robotics round takes students on a journey to solve practical technology simulation problems such as greenhouse operation, seed production and distribution. During the competition time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, each team must coordinate closely in a coalition competition model (2 teams - 2 robots), performing tasks in parallel and consecutively.

The excitement of the ranking and knockout rounds exploded across all regional fronts: North (held at FPTU Hanoi on 21 - 22.6 ) opened with excitement with nearly 90 teams from Hanoi, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Nghe An...; Da Nang and Quy Nhon (held on 3 - 4.7 ) marked the spectacular breakthrough of Robotics rookies; Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho (held on 5 - 6. 7) Demonstrate flexible technological thinking, good equipment mastery, and skillful tactics .

Robotics is considered an extremely dramatic and exciting round.

As a result, 45 best teams were named to the Final round, including: 20 teams from the North, 15 teams from Ho Chi Minh City, 10 teams from Da Nang and Quy Nhon, and 5 teams from Can Tho.

The Final Round will take place at FPT University Hanoi on 2 - 3.8.2025 , with a series of attractive prizes: 2 First prizes , 2 Second prizes, 2 Third prizes, additional prizes and full scholarships from FPT University.

Not just a competition, FARC is a testament to FPT University's commitment to accompanying the young generation on their journey of exploring technology, inspiring passion and orienting their careers.

"We want to build a playground that not only revolves around technology, but also an environment for students to practice many important skills such as negotiation, tactical thinking and teamwork with other teams. This is also an opportunity for students to connect and interact with friends from many regions - a place where not only knowledge is shared but also diverse cultures across Vietnam are met, " said MSc. Le Ngoc Tuan, Director of Technology Experience - FPT Education Organization, FPT Corporation.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Quan - Head of Admissions Department of FPT University, FPT Corporation, Head of the Organizing Committee - also said that the FARC 2025 competition is not only a playground for competition, but also a meaningful experience journey for students. He shared: "Through immersing yourself in STEAM and Robotics activities, young people will have the opportunity to experience and explore their passions to shape their future careers, choose the right major and university environment".

Young people from high schools across the country learned a lot through the competition.

Many contestants approached Robotics for the first time but quickly caught up with the game and left their mark. Student Chan Long - a member of the Sognatori team, Nguyen Cong Tru High School (HCMC ) - said that the competition helped young people gain more knowledge about mechanics, electronics... "We experienced working like in a real project, with a clear process, specific deadlines and had to coordinate together as a professional team. Thanks to that, I had the opportunity to approach fields that I previously thought I would never touch. It was a valuable experience, opening up many new directions for me in the future" , Long shared.

FARC 2025 is a large-scale technology playground of FPT University - where students not only learn theory but also "practice" through competitions and projects, business internships and continuous innovation. Through this, young people gradually develop critical thinking, problem-solving ability and adaptability skills - core factors for success in the age of AI and automation.
