In addition to paintings, the exhibition also displays designs that come to life through many artifacts bearing the once famous MÉMO brand. They were crafted from 1940 to 1968, containing the concept of art for humanity, where beauty harmonizes with function. The most special of these is the design of a table and chair set crafted by Trinh Huu Ngoc and his colleagues, where President Ho Chi Minh drafted the Declaration of Independence , currently kept at the Vietnam Revolutionary Museum. Along with the painting "Head of Hang Dao Street on the Day of Taking Over the Capital" , both show the harmony between a multi-talented artist and the fate of the country.
In addition, the exhibition also displays personal memorabilia of painter Trinh Huu Ngoc, helping viewers understand more about the artist in his daily life. The exhibition also shows the continuity and dialogue across time, where the spirit of Zen painting was passed from him to his son - painter and translator Trinh Lu. It is expected that at around 10am on October 26, painter Trinh Lu will have a talk here, recounting vivid memories of Trinh Huu Ngoc's life, career and legacy.
