Bringing the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the Party Committee of the Government into depth

On the afternoon of August 5, the Steering Committee of the 35th Party Committee of the Government held its first conference to comprehensively evaluate the results of its activities in the past time, orient the direction and key tasks in the coming time, and seek opinions from the Steering Committee members on a number of major and important plans related to the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation. Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, Head of the Steering Committee of the 35th Party Committee of the Government chaired the conference.

The Steering Committee 35 of the Government Party Committee was established under the decision of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee. The Steering Committee is headed by the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh ; its members are key leaders of ministries, branches, and party organizations under the Government Party Committee.

Immediately after its establishment, the Steering Committee 35 of the Government Party Committee promptly consolidated its organization, developed working regulations and gradually put into operation in a disciplined and methodical manner. In the spirit of "steadfastness, consistency, proactiveness, sensitivity, timeliness and efficiency", the Steering Committee has advised and organized the implementation of many key tasks, contributing to deepening the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the Government Party Committee.

The Steering Committee has developed and issued the Operating Regulations, clearly defining the roles, functions and responsibilities of each member and the supporting department; maintaining regular meetings, assigning focal points to monitor fields and information lines, thereby promptly detecting and handling false and hostile information related to the Government, Party and State leaders and sensitive issues of public concern, especially in the fields of health, education, food safety and cyber fraud.

In particular, the work of combating, preventing and repelling smuggling, trade fraud, production and trading of counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights is identified as a key, regular, and continuous task, with no forbidden areas or exceptions. This is a political requirement, demonstrating the strong leadership of the Party Secretary and Prime Minister with the consistent viewpoint: "Every day is a peak", at the same time wishing that every citizen is both a soldier in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights, and a smart consumer in the market...

The Deputy Prime Minister noted: To fight against bad arguments, we need a team of experts with expertise. Build a team of collaborators and experts who are broad, sharp, and have both courage, a firm grasp of the issue, and are proficient in technology.

The Steering Committee 35 of the affiliated Party Committees has consolidated and built a core team, in which the team of reporters, editors and collaborators have promoted a proactive and pioneering role in cyberspace, directly fighting against and spreading positive information, building social trust in the policies of the Party and the State. The media products are profound, sharp, reflecting the correct ideological orientation, spread on many social networking and press platforms, contributing to "greening information", maintaining trust among cadres, Party members, workers and people.

In the coming time, the Steering Committee 35 of the Government Party Committee will focus on implementing a number of key tasks such as: The plan of the Government Party Committee Standing Committee to implement Conclusion No. 89-KL/TW of the Politburo on strengthening the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation;

Establishing teams of the Steering Committee to specialize activities, improve the effectiveness of direction, management, and implementation of tasks according to requirements in the new situation; planning to build communication channels of the Steering Committee on social networking platforms, internal digital infrastructure and coordinate with the press and communication system of the Government, thereby proactively occupying cyberspace, spreading official information, and orienting public opinion;

Plan to inspect the work of protecting the ideological foundation of affiliated party organizations in 2025; the work of managing cadres, civil servants, and public employees in cyberspace and building on-site forces to fight and refute...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh acknowledged the initial efforts and contributions of Steering Committee 35 at all levels in the Government Party Committee in the context of the increasing emergence of many types of malicious information and sophisticated sabotage tricks, targeting the Party's ideological foundation and the leadership and administration of the Government.

The First Deputy Prime Minister clearly stated the spirit of the 10 tasks of the Steering Committee, which is "covering the world with positive information, strengthening the resistance of cadres, party members and people, and fighting sharply against bad arguments". We must strengthen the dissemination of official information quickly and promptly, reflecting the breath of life, the achievements of the country, the leadership and decisions of the Party and State.

At the same time, promote political and ideological education, enhance "resistance" for cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire Party, be alert and clear-headed when using social networks, and have the ability to be "immune" to bad and toxic information.

According to the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, to fight against bad arguments, we need a force with expertise. Build a large, sharp team of collaborators and experts who are both brave, have a firm grasp of the issue, and are proficient in technology. The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission should study policies to treat, protect, train, and foster this force, because this is the vanguard force on the ideological front.

The upcoming 1st Government Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress is an extremely important time, therefore, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh stated: Steering Committee 35 of the Government Party Committee and Steering Committees 35 at all levels in the Government Party Committee continue to improve quality, closely follow the direction and orientation of the Central Steering Committee 35, functional agencies, and affiliated Party organizations; build a mechanism to detect - handle - disseminate information; proactively grasp the ideological situation and mood of cadres, Party members, and workers, especially in complicated and sensitive cases that are of public interest.

It is necessary to continue to strengthen the organization of training courses, seminars, and thematic activities on protecting the ideological foundation associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, implementing regulations on exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members, and performing political tasks of each agency, unit, and enterprise.

Continue to promote the role of press and media agencies under the Party and Government. Strengthen policy communication, positive information, inspirational stories, advanced examples, in-depth and sharp theoretical and practical articles, strongly refuting false arguments.
