Dong Thap starts construction of riverside road project worth nearly 2,000 billion VND

On September 8, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province started the project of traffic roads on both sides of Bao Dinh river and launched an emulation campaign to welcome the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The Bao Dinh River Road Project runs through the wards of Trung An, Dao Thanh, My Tho, My Phong, Dong Thap province. The project has a total length of nearly 10km, including embankments combined with roads, parks, lighting, with a total investment of nearly 2,000 billion VND.

The project was built with the goal of investing in water and road traffic connecting Tien Giang - Long An in the past (now Dong Thap province and Tay Ninh province), combined with urban beautification, anti-erosion, high tide...

Mr. Tran Van Dung - Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee - said that the groundbreaking ceremony of this project also aims to launch a special emulation campaign to welcome the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

In order for the project to be implemented with quality assurance and on schedule, Mr. Tran Van Dung requested that the investor and contractors comply with regulations and focus on early completion of construction to put the project into effective operation. Units must focus all resources to ensure the project achieves quality, progress and aesthetics, ensuring the highest efficiency of investment capital.
