Accordingly, the People's Committee decided to approve the investment policy of the Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Project to facilitate traffic connection between Dong Nai province (old) and Binh Phuoc province (old), creating a smooth traffic system in Dong Nai province (after the merger), serving the travel and transportation needs of the people. Forming an inter-regional traffic axis connecting the Central Highlands provinces to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep-water port, accelerating the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure, industrial parks... promoting economic and social development of localities.
Ma Da Bridge is invested in construction as a level III traffic project, with a design speed of 80km/h. The project to invest in construction of Ma Da Bridge (including the approach road) has its starting point intersecting with Provincial Road 753; its end point intersecting with the connecting road from Ma Da Bridge to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City. The scale of the completed phase of Ma Da Bridge is 34.5m wide with 8 lanes for motor vehicles. In which, the investment phase 1 has the project centerline coinciding with the centerline of the completed phase.
In phase 1, Ma Da bridge is invested with a cross-section of 20.5m wide with 4 lanes for motor vehicles and other related auxiliary works. The project has a total investment of more than 192 billion VND, of which the construction cost is more than 135 billion VND, the compensation and resettlement support cost is nearly 3.8 billion VND from the provincial budget. Regarding progress, the project is divided into phase 1 and will be implemented from 2025 to 2027. After evaluating the investment efficiency of the divided phase, the investment in the completion phase will be studied.
For compensation and site clearance, the scope of compensation and site clearance is about 1.32 hectares, of which special-use forest land is about 0.63 hectares, production forest land is about 0.46 hectares, water surface area is about 0.04 hectares, traffic land is about 0.19 hectares.
The project is also divided into two independent projects including the Ma Da Bridge Construction Project invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and the Ma Da Bridge Construction Investment Compensation, Support and Resettlement Project invested by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
Previously, on June 30, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc signed Document No. 2336/QD-UBND Decision approving the adjustment of Dong Nai Province's Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Accordingly, approving the adjustment and supplementation of a number of contents in Decision No. 586/QD-TTg dated July 3, 2024 of the Prime Minister approving Dong Nai Province's Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Specifically, adjusting the expected length of provincial roads and adding new planning related to road network development. Accordingly, adjusting the expected length of provincial roads and adding new planning for provincial road project 761 number 38 to Appendix VII - Road network development plan of Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050; adding number V connecting with Binh Phuc province and adding new planning for Ma Da bridge to Appendix XI - Supplementary plan connecting Dong Nai province with neighboring localities for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050; adding Provincial road project 761 to number 1 and adding Ma Da bridge project number 4 to point B, Section IV, traffic infrastructure of Appendix XXXII, list of priority investment projects in the province for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050.
At the same time, adjust Appendix XXVI - land allocation and zoning plan of Dong Nai province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 (adjust the forest land target of more than 96 hectares to traffic land).
