Ronaldo's compatriot plays for Ho Chi Minh City football team

Hugo Alves officially joined Becamex TP.HCM Club from the 2025-2026 season after passing the trial and medical tests.

Becamex Ho Chi Minh City Club has just announced new player Hugo Alves, a Portuguese national. Hugo Alves was born in 1999, playing in the position of central midfielder, attacking midfielder.

Coach Nguyen Anh Duc's team assessed that the 26-year-old midfielder has sharp tactical thinking, flexible ball control ability and experience from Europe.

When mentioning Portugal, many Becamex TP.HCM players mention Ronaldo. Hugo Alves is a compatriot of the famous striker who is playing for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
