In July 2022, the Women's Union of Thang Binh district and the Women's Union of A Nong commune (Tay Giang) signed a twinning program between the two units; focusing on social security work to help poor women in especially difficult areas.
Accordingly, every year, the Women's Union of Thang Binh district mobilizes each female member to save 3 thousand VND; along with other mobilization sources to maintain the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" towards the sister commune of A Nong.
Early last May, officials of the Women's Union of Thang Binh district organized a charity program for women and children in the sister commune of A Nong.
The women brought clothes, blankets and essential necessities to give to disadvantaged women members; 10 bicycles to give to students. Along with that, they also cooked 200 lunches for the people here. The total value of the program was up to 130 million VND.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lien - President of the Women's Union of Binh Giang commune said: "In addition to the money shared by women members, the Women's Union at the grassroots level also mobilized "everyone contributes whatever they have" to give to the poor people of the sister commune. The gifts were given to the poor women with the hope of a better life. The students have the conditions to go to school to learn to read and write."
Besides A Nong commune, Thang Binh district Women's Union also signed a twinning program with Phuoc Tra commune Women's Union, Hiep Duc district.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Nguyet - Vice President of the Women's Union of Thang Binh district, said that the implementation of the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" contributes to the goal of building new rural areas and sustainable poverty reduction in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of the province.

In 4 years (2022 - 2025), the Women's Union of Thang Binh district mobilized female cadres and members in the district to support the amount of 559.5 million to the Provincial Women's Union to implement the program "Accompanying women in the border areas".
At the same time, mobilize women's union members and other sources to support livelihoods, gifts, computers and necessary necessities for women's union members and children in A Nong and Phuoc Tra communes with a total amount of 686 million VND.
In addition, the Women's Union of Thang Binh district also mobilized contributions with the Provincial Women's Union of 39 million VND to participate in the program "Green, clean, beautiful, bright border areas"; organized visits and presented 20 solar bulbs, 215 gifts worth 45 million VND to women and children in Tra Tap village (Nam Tra My)... Thereby contributing to sharing difficulties with women and children in the highlands, practically encouraging them to rise up in life.
