Comrade Nguyen Long Hai was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Party agencies.

On the morning of September 4, in Hanoi, the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work. Attending the conference were comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs , along with comrades of the Party Central Committee, representatives of the Central Party Committees; Party Committees under the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies and Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.

At the conference, comrade Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, announced the Politburo's Decision. Accordingly, the Politburo decided that comrade Nguyen Long Hai, alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, would cease to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and cease to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; and would be transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term.

Presenting the Politburo's Decision and congratulating comrade Nguyen Long Hai, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stated that, based on the requirements of the task, the Politburo has decided to assign and transfer comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies to take on new tasks; appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; and at the same time participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Party Committee Secretary, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Politburo has decided to assign comrade Nguyen Long Hai to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies for the 2020-2025 term.

Emphasizing the urgent time to prepare for the 1st Congress of the Party Central Committee's agencies, the huge workload, the Standing member of the Secretariat requested that the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Standing Party Committee, the departments and units in the Party Committee and the affiliated Party Committees accompany, share, support and closely coordinate to help comrade Nguyen Long Hai successfully complete his tasks.

Party committees of the Central Party agencies thoroughly grasp the policies and resolutions of the Politburo and the Secretariat; uphold the spirit of responsibility, truly unite and unite, improve the quality of the staff, raise the level of strategic advisory work; lead and direct Party organizations to constantly improve their leadership capacity, fighting strength, build a truly clean and strong Party organization; take the lead in continuing to innovate and be creative; promptly propose to the Politburo and the Secretariat issues according to assigned functions and tasks; strengthen discipline and order; maintain principles, ensure good preparation of conditions for the successful organization of the Party Congresses of the Central Party agencies; contribute to the successful organization of the 14th National Party Congress.

He believes that the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Standing Party Committee and comrade Nguyen Long Hai personally will continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, promote their capacity, strengths, and work experience, and excellently complete the assigned tasks.

On behalf of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu presented flowers and thanked comrade Le Hoai Trung for his very positive and important contributions to the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies in the past time; at the same time, he hoped that comrade would continue to show affection, coordinate and help the Party Committee to fulfill its political tasks well in the coming time.

Comrade Le Hoai Trung respectfully thanked the Standing member of the Secretariat, comrades in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies, departments, and staff for sharing and helping him to fulfill his tasks, especially in the period of newly establishing the Party Committee, both consolidating the organization, stabilizing operations, and promptly directing and leading the organization of Party Congresses at all levels towards the Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party. Expressing his great honor and responsibility, he pledged to continue to promote tradition and experience, and coordinate with the Party Committee to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, the State, and the people.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nguyen Long Hai respectfully thanked the Politburo; the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies for entrusting him with the new responsibility; and thanked the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Tri for their support and sharing during his time working in the locality. He expressed his determination to make efforts to train and cultivate himself; continue to learn and improve his knowledge, especially in Party building work; strive with Party committees and organizations at all levels in the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies to build the Party Committees into models of Party building work; build clean and strong agencies and organizations; and in the immediate future, together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee, ensure the successful organization of the 1st Congress of the Party Committees of the Central Party agencies for the 2025-2030 term.
