Bamboo trays and winnowing baskets placed on plastic chairs are filled with childhood gifts. Photo: Diep Thanh The fair was held on the occasion of the summer gifted class closing ceremony, with the idea of teacher Hoang Thi Lan (a teacher at Nghi Hung Kindergarten, also a resident of Hamlet 3, Than Linh Commune), together with the villagers, neighbors and parents. With that small symbolic amount, children are free to choose their favorite food. Many adults also enjoy supporting and buying things here. Using banana leaves instead of plastic cups and jars is also an environmental protection message that the organizers want to send to children and the community. Photo: Diep Thanh It is known that to make the event a success, teacher Hoang Thi Lan and the people of Hamlet 3, Than Linh Commune prepared for 2 days and nights. Held for 3 consecutive years, this event also demonstrates the strong community spirit of the people of Hamlet 3, Than Linh Commune, where village love and neighborliness are always promoted and spread.
