Comprehensive survey of tourism resources in the province

Doctor A. Yersin's house on the top of Hon Ba, a cultural tourism resource that has been put into exploitation recently.

According to the plan, the survey aims to collect information, evaluate and classify tourism resources to develop tourism planning and build a database of tourism resources for the whole province. The scope of the survey includes 2 main groups of resources: Natural tourism resources (natural landscapes, geological factors, geomorphology, climate, hydrology, ecosystems) and cultural tourism resources (historical - cultural relics, revolutionary relics, traditional cultural values, festivals, folk arts, human creative works). The survey content focuses on 3 groups of information: General information about tourism resources (name, location, area, management entity); current status of exploitation and use; characteristics, properties, values of each resource.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead in developing a plan, coordinating with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to issue an investigation plan, select and train investigators and supervisors. The Department of Agriculture and Environment was assigned to coordinate in providing information and data related to the fields of agriculture, environment, and biodiversity conservation to serve the investigation. The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the task to the Department of Finance, the Department of Construction, Nui Chua - Phuoc Binh National Park, etc., and related departments and branches.

This plan is expected to create a scientific basis for the effective management and exploitation of tourism resources and the development of sustainable tourism products in Khanh Hoa.
