By July 31, more than 90 hectares of land had been cleared at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.

(DN) - On July 31, information from the Land Fund Development Center of Dong Nai province said: Up to now, more than 90 hectares of land in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park have been cleared, reaching more than 28% of the total land area that needs to be cleared.

Specifically, the areas that have been cleared are: 12 hectares of land managed and used by households; more than 12 hectares of land managed by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center; nearly 46 hectares of land for traffic, rivers, and irrigation; the remaining area is land recovered from 3 companies (Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Corporation, Eastern Joint Stock Company, and Vietnam Electric Wire and Cable Joint Stock Company).

On July 31, the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward plans to dismantle the remaining two construction works in the priority area to complete the site clearance for the land area used by individuals and households. At the same time, the Dong Nai Provincial Land Fund Development Center will coordinate with the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward to approve and organize the implementation of the compensation plan and land handover for the companies.

According to the Project to Convert Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area and Environmental Improvement, the province will reclaim about 329 hectares of land in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park. Of which, the priority land area is about 154 hectares, which needs to be reclaimed before August 1, 2025.
