Also on this highway, recently, another situation made many drivers "heart-stopping". According to a video posted by a social media account, a cow suddenly appeared on the right lane of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, a man believed to be the owner of this cow also calmly strolled close to the car lane.

The incident immediately startled many drivers, who immediately braked to avoid a chain reaction accident.

People and cows leisurely "stroll" on Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway

According to the representative of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway Project Management Board, the situation of people grazing cattle inside the highway protection corridor has been very common in recent times. In many cases, cows have strayed onto the highway, posing a potential risk to traffic safety. The highway management unit has repeatedly sent documents requesting local authorities to coordinate in propagating to people not to graze cattle in the road corridor area, but so far it has not been completely resolved.

Traffic experts warn that allowing livestock onto the highway not only violates the law but also poses a risk of leading to particularly serious accidents. With the maximum speed on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway being 90km/h, if an obstacle suddenly appears, drivers will have difficulty handling it in time.

To avoid similar incidents from happening again, local authorities and highway management units need to strengthen barriers and strictly control residential areas along the route. At the same time, people also need to raise awareness and absolutely not graze or lead livestock onto the highway.
